Olive Branch will also check the Montgomery County Public School system’s website http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org to assist in making the decision to cancel activities.
OBCC BAZAAR/YARD SALE
One person’s unwanted items can be another person’s treasure. Get ready for the summer bazaar/yard sale, sponsor by OBCC, on Saturday, June 6, 2015. A sign-up sheet for volunteers is available on the Usher’s table. More information to follow.
On Sunday, June 14, 2015, all students will be recognized during worship service for their academic achievements, including the awarding of the Dr. Robert J. Cummings Book Award. An application, located on the Usher’s Table, must be completed for each student. The guest speaker for Education Sunday will be Ms. Aqueelha James, Principal, John Burroughs Education Campus, Washington, DC.
The Youth Lock-In will be Friday, May 29, 2015, at the OBCC Rectory from 8:00 p.m. until Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Parents are needed to volunteer to spend the night and prepare breakfast Saturday morning. The activity for this year's lock-in will be open mic night and karaoke. The congregation will be invited to come out and show their talents. The Movie for the night will be BIG HERO 6. WOMEN’S MINISTRY EVENT

OBCC is aware that members/visitors/friends are still contributing to the building fund/capital campaign, at the rate you were giving in 2014. However, it is necessary to have this information on paper. So if you did not complete a pledge form for calendar year 2015, please click here to print and submit pledge card to an Usher, Elder, or a member of the Finance Committee.
Good Friday - April 3, 2015: Worship service will be held in the Fellowship Hall at the Rectory, starting
at 7:00 p.m. and will include the “Seven Last Words from the Cross”.
Saturday - April 4, 2015: The annual OBCC Children's Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Rectory, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. There will be eggs/candy hunt for ages 10 and under and a scavenger hunt for older kids. Invite friends and family. This event is BYOB—Bring Your Own Basket! - Sunrise Worship Service at the OBCC Rectory, starting at 6:30 a.m.

- Regular Worship Service at Spencerville Academy, starting at 9:00 a.m.

OBCC’S BLACK HISTORY JEOPARDY
Black History Jeopardy is coming to OBCC on Sunday, March 15, 2015, during Sunday School at the Rectory.
WOMEN AND THE WORD
On March 9, 2015, OBCC’s women will be “Dining in Damascus” as they discuss Biblical Hospitality Today: Scriptural Mandate vs. Spiritual Gift. A special meal, prepared by a Mediterranean chef, will be made from Biblical recipes and served in accordance with Biblical dining etiquette.
On March 8, 2015, the Sandy Spring Museum is performing an hour long performance with six dynamic Montgomery County residents sharing their personal stories and insights about civil rights.
